Her son Damien grew up helping out in the business and studied Hospitality Management in Cathal Brugha went to work in finance in London and after 6 six years away from the food industry took a sabbatical from finance to help Mary make some changes in her business.
The results from the changes they made were so encouraging that Damien committed to the business full time and together they set up “Carraig Catering”.

Carraig Catering “hot pots” range of products for example arrive to your home freshly made in cast iron casserole dishes ready to be heated in the oven allowing you to entertain at home for as little as €6 per person!
Carraig Catering understand that every function is different and we work very closely with our head chef Pat Flanagan, who has over 20 years experience catering in the most elite circles to develop new and exciting dishes and ways to present them.
